The Final Breaking
You will fracture the illusion
These cliffs and canyons chasm.
You must decide
which way you'll go,
bearing
a burden that is too great,
and no longer surprised
by obstacles encountered.
The path slurs as if drunk
and it has become blurred.
You stand at a basin’s edge,
staring calmly
into the depth of what is fated so.
Right before you,
at the surface vapor,
an abyss
covers those waters in debris,
the shrapnel scattered amid
it’s ice-maiden undulations.
The curse had taken a toll
on most who’ve dared before.
You will fracture the illusion
